Language Support for GTM Assistant Shopify App

The GTM Assistant Shopify app is designed to provide a seamless user experience for merchants worldwide by supporting multiple languages. With automatic language detection and manual language selection, the app ensures that merchants can use its features in their preferred language, making analytics and tag management more accessible.


Supported Languages

As of now, the GTM Assistant app supports the following languages:

  • English (Default)
  • French
  • German
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Modern Chinese
  • Spanish

Automatic Language Detection

If your Shopify store’s primary language matches one of the supported languages listed above, the app will automatically load in that language. This eliminates the need for additional configuration and ensures a localized experience from the moment the app is installed.

Example:

  • If your store is set to French, the app will automatically display all menus, instructions, and configurations in French.
  • Similarly, if your store uses German as the primary language, the app will adapt accordingly.

Manual Language Selection

The app provides flexibility by allowing merchants to manually change the language of the interface if needed. This feature is useful for stores with multilingual teams or merchants who prefer to work in a language other than their store’s primary language.

How to Change Language:

  1. Go to the Language Settings from the app's dashboard.
  2. Select your preferred language from the list of supported options.
